Suggested Supply List

Deerfield Elementary provides school supplies needed throughout the year, but many students find it useful and even fun to bring these “suggested supplies” in order to use and share in the classroom. We suggest bringing these at the school’s Open House during the last week of August. Thank you!

2026-2027

All Students Will Need To Bring...

● 1 large backpack: the backpack should be large enough to hold your child’s lunchbox and shoes/boots during the winter months; the backpack should have nothing hanging from it, such as key chains, as they may be a safety hazard when entering/exiting the bus; no roller backpacks

● 1 art shirt: an old, oversized T-shirt with child’s name printed on front and back for art class

● 1 pair of gym shoes: soft soled shoes to be worn in PE class

● 1 pair of headphones with cord: No bluetooth, no earbuds, labeled w/child’s name

Kindergarten

· 1 Dozen (standard size, not fat) Ticonderoga Pre-sharpened pencils 1 box of Crayola 24-count crayons

2 Small Elmer’s glue sticks

1 Primary journal composition notebook

· 1 canister Clorox wipes

· 1 box Kleenex

White cardstock (last names A-K)

Gallon or Sandwich Bags (Last names L-Z)

First grade

· 1 dozen Ticonderoga pre-sharpened pencils

· 1 package Crayola crayons 24 or 48 count

· 1 package Crayola markers, thick or thin, classic colors

· 1 package Crayola colored pencils

· 4-pack large Elmer’s glue sticks

· Scissors labeled with child’s name

· Small handheld pencil sharpener labeled w/child’s name

· 1-2 rolls of general-purpose masking tape

· Watercolors

· 1 pencil box/case labeled with child’s name

· 1 package of 12 fine-point black dry-erase markers

· 1-2 boxes of Kleenex

· 1 pack of 150 sheet Astrobright paper

· 1 dry-erase eraser

Second grade
